Press Release: Women Presidents’ Organization Announces Funmi Ogbue Newest Member of Prestigious Women’s Business Organization



The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO), a peer advisory group for million dollar plus women-led companies, is proud to announce Funmi Ogbue (Mrs), the Managing Director Zigma Limited as the newest member of the Member-at-Large Chapter of the WPO.

 

“I am very pleased to welcome Funmi to the WPO,” said Marsha Firestone, Ph.D., WPO President and Founder. “As a peer advisory organization for women business leaders of multi-million dollar companies, WPO membership is highly selective. Funmi’s membership in the WPO is a testament to her incredible success in business.”

 

Funmi is the founder and Managing Director of Zigma, an indigenous oil and gas services company.

 

I joined WPO so as to connect to a global network of incredible women who have singlehandedly built amazing brands and joining WPO has been one of the defining moments for my business,” said Funmi who is also the founder and CEO of Nigeria’s leading consulting firm Jake Riley and non-profit military-focused organization Support Our Troops.

Requirements for membership to the WPO include annual revenue of at least $2 million ($1 million for service-based companies) and an ownership interest in the company. How can we share love in a world void of love?

As each day passes,I see that so many people do not understand what sharing love is all about.Just last night,I saw a man,not a boy.I mean a full fledged man beating up a lady just by the roadside as if she were some common thief.On inquiry,I discovered she was his girlfriend.Did I hear you say,what?!!!.mhnnn...the feeling is mutual,but come to think of it,he may have had a reason which he felt was good enough to beat her up.Someone may say no reason is good enough...chapter closed. I stumbled upon this beautiful article on IFP while researching on other stuff and thought to share it. It's a 4 minutes read. I totally agree with it. Gender equality seems to be the one issue that isn't going away. Many of us like to believe sexism is something that only plagued the workplaces of yesteryear, but unfortunately it still exists.
