Albashi,Gombe State Deputy Governor dies abroad!

Gombe State deputy governor Mr. David Miyims Albashi has died at 52 in the early hours of Friday, November 4,2011. The state government declared a seven-day period of mourning in the state with effect from Friday, November 4, 2011 following the demise of its Deputy Governor, Mr. David Miyims Albashi.

It could be recalled that Mr Albashi was flown to Germany for medical attention after a terrible auto crash which left him with serious head injuries in August this year.

Excerpts from a Press release which was signed by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Alhaji Abubakar Sule Bagge reads;“With total submission to the will of the Almighty God, His Excellency, Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo OON (Talban Gombe), Governor of Gombe State, regrets to announce the passing away of His Excellency, Mr. David Miyim Alhbashi in Germany in the early hours of this morning’.
