Woman Crush Sunday (WCS): Magaret Idahosa

      Margaret Ekhoe Idahosa is the first female Archbishop in Africa (1998), She is the Archbishop of the Church Of God international Mission, She is also the first female University chancellor in Africa (2010) Benson Idahosa University .One of the intriguing thing about her is her willingness to step into the leadership role of her husband's ministry after his death. Wow! no wonder they say marry a woman that believes in your vision.
   She was born on the 29th of July 1943 to a royal family in Benin City, she was married to late Archbishop Benson Idahosa, the  union brought four biological children (3 women and 1 man), 3 adopted children and four grand children. Magaret Idahosa holds a Diploma in Home Economics from the Leeds Polytechnic (U.K), Bachelor's degree in Biblical studies, Master's degree in Divinity and Doctorate degree in Ministry of friends International Christain University, California, She also has a Masters in Education and a Honorary Doctorate from Oral Roberts University (USA).
   She is also an author of many books namely: Womb of Harvest, The Female Minister, Empowered for Radical change, Born naked not empty and many more .
  Magaret Idahosa was ordained into the ministry on May 24, 1983, she was first timid and clueless but by the grace of God she had made some achievements in the ministry namely:
. The establishment of the word of Faith group of schools, a network of 108 schools across Nigeria
. The establishment of the International Leadership Resource Institute to teach leadership and principles to pastors and church workers
. An orphanage home called ' My Sister's place'.
  Currently the church has over 4,000 branches in Africa, Europe, North America and Asia.
   One of her greatest challenges was becoming a Widow suddenly and of course stepping into a male dominated world( Gospel Ministry) but she has since developed a strong will to serve and utilize her potentials as seen in her words: " Before God there is no difference but traditionally we have a difference. If a man can fulfill the gift in him from the foundation, why can't a woman as well? "God is not mad at a man preaching and also a woman  preaching".
   The multi- millionaire pastor believes in one utilizing his/ her potential as a way of being fruitful. So what are you waiting for? Get into your own train.

This is Olufunke Ayotunde Akindele, a Nigerian Actress and Producer, Script writer and Entrepreneur. She is mostly referred to as Funke Akindele .
