Woman Crush Sunday: Esther Ibanga

Esther Ibanga is a Nigerian female pastor from Eggon local government area of Nassarawa state born on the 31st of March to the family of Mr Abumadga Auta( a renowned police man) and Mrs Mariamu Abimiku, She is married to Mr Ikodem Ibanga, a renowned public health exponent; the union is blessed with two children: Uyai and Ifiok.
Although she graduated with BSC in Business Adminstration from Ahmadu Bello University and MBA from the University of Jos, she had even worked in Central Bank as a Manager, she left after 16 years to be the first female to own a church.
She was first spurred to go into ministry because of the regular bloodshed of women and children close to her home in plateau state thus she started by organising a March of Christain women for peace. She also founded the Jos Christain Missions International in 1995 formally called Christain Mission International with the vision of raising a vibrant Apostolic community of believers, the church which started with just 8 members has spread across many regions now in Nigeria. Another initiative of her's include Women without wall founded in 2010, this foundation focuses on Advocacy, provision of relief to internally displaced persons, training of women in peace building initiative, dialogues and mediation, Developmental Projects and Women and Youth empowerment, through this organization she has restored peace between the Christain and Muslim communities especially in Jos North. This organization also joined in the "Bring back our girls" campaign and she has not stopped campaigning.
In 2015, she was awarded the peace price by Nwano Peace Foundation for her contribution to inter- religious cooperation, the award covered a medal and 20 million Yen.
In her quest to restore peace, the more male volent elements stepped up their acts inflicting  more injuries to the people, some Muslim women refused to associate with the organization too yet Mrs Ibanga can be described as a true and unapologetic advocate of altruism.
She says she owes her achievements to her personal relationship with God, she also does not hide her appreciation for  her mentor ( pastor Tunde  Bakare) and her husband. Pastor Esther will always say her Hunger for the impossible quickened something possible in her. Indeed you can do the impossible If you can only believe.

Longest Nails on the Planet!

This is Christine Walton from Las Vegas -- who has the world's longest fingernails measuring a freaky 19ft 9in (601.9cm).She has set a record in Guiness world book of records. That's 10ft 2in (309.8cm) on her left hand and 9ft 7in (292.1cm) on her right hand and the 45-year-old singer says she hasn’t cut her fingernails since 1990. Christine insists the nails don’t prevent her from living a normal life; she can still braid hair, cook and drive, however, she does confess to struggling when shopping for clothes: "I’ll see the cutest shirts, and they’ll have these skinny arms and I know that my nails would just rip straight through them, she said. "I never made a conscious decision to grow the nails, but with all my children and the music commitments I guess it was easier to let the nails grow," she added, "Then one day I look down and they’re like 9 inches long!" Her current length of the fingernails are the equivalent length of a killer whale; two...

The Empowered woman

I think being a woman,I mean a real woman is one of the hardest things ever!. You won't agree with this only if you are not a woman, but if you are a woman, then congratulations to you.You are a mysterious being but then again this congratulation goes to the 'real woman'. The real woman is that person that makes everything difficult seem easy. She is a hard worker, faithful friend and partner,a good manager,a home maker,a lover,a confidant,a mother,a sister,a daughter,a visioneer...Someone,may say,"Yea, ok...I'm not a mother or I'm single and so does that make me not a real woman?Of course not!. Age,class, status, beauty or achievements do not define a real woman, but character does. I can't but wonder at the stories we hear these days about women.I marvel at the rate of evil perpetuated by women in our society.Prostitution is old wives tale but when women are involved in armed robbery, kidnappings, terrorism, gang rape, adultery, fraud to mention a few, then by a...
